I grew up in Sarasota in the 80's  and worked in construction. I remember working in Nokomis around 1984 building the Inlets. Myself and a co worker would head down to Blackburn Point and would Stone Crab by the Bridge during low tide. I always loved the Casey Key and Nokomis Beach area.

Now 30 years later you’ll find me walking the beach, fishing at the North Jetty, and riding my bicycle from the North Jetty to Casey Key Fish House & Tiki Bar and back, on a daily basis.
